Chasing Life (2014)

April is a 20-year-old aspiring intelligent journalist who is trying to balance her ambitious career with her family, which includes her widowed mother, rebellious sister and grandmother. We meet in April at a crucial time in her life: she brought a fantastic opportunity to impress her Boston newspaper editor and a love story in the office with her super-sexy colleague, Dominic, is just beginning to flourish. In an unexpected turn of events, April enters the hospital, where her estranged uncle George works as an oncologist, and she learns the devastating news that she has cancer.
