Intruders (2014)

Jack Whelan (John Simm), a former LAPD policeman with a disturbing and violent history, finds an idyllic quiet life he created with his wife, Amy (Mira Sorvino), shattered when he disappears. Jack is drawn deeper into mystery when his high school friend Gary Fischer (Tory Kittles) shows up at the door and asks for help in a murder case. Initially rejecting Gary’s claims, the more Jack investigates the more complex and surreal his discoveries. What Jack discovers takes him down the dark path of his past and closer to terrifying revelations about a secret society known as Qui Reverti.
