The Brink (2015)

The Brink focuses on a geopolitical crisis and its effects on three different and desperate men: Walter Larson (Tim Robbins), Secretary of State of the United States of America; Alex Talbot (Jack Black), a humble Secret Service official; and Zeke Tilson (Pablo Schreiber), a fighter pilot. These three compromised souls must emerge from the chaos around them to save the planet from World War III. R nThe series begins with a crisis situation in Pakistan, where a coup takes place when a general takes control of the country. and its nuclear arsenal, leaving the fate of the world on the shoulders of these three alleged American heroes. From the turbulent streets of the Middle East, to the situation at the White House or the Red Sea airspace, the series takes us on an incendiary race through several areas of the globe and shows us how the weaknesses, egos and rivalries of leaders politics can lead us to the brink of a world war.
