The Time in Between (2013)

In the months leading up to the Franco uprising, the young tailor Sira Quiroga leaves Madrid, driven by her boundless love for an almost unknown man. He settles with him in Tangier, a fashionable, exotic and vibrant city, where something happens to him that he could have imagined. Sira will be betrayed and forsaken here. Alone, overwhelmed by the debts left by her ex-boyfriend, she goes to Tetouan, the capital of the Spanish Protectorate of Morocco. Through maneuvers that are not exactly orthodox and helped by friends of dubious reputation, Sira creates a new identity and opens an elegant tailoring salon for clients who come from far away and whose present is hard to guess.
