True Detective (2014)

The new original HBO series brings Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson to the small screen as the two detectives who set out in the footsteps of a murderer in Louisana, following the reopening of a controversial case 17 years ago. R nMartin Hart (Woody Harrelson) and Rust Cohle (Matthew McConaughey) are two detectives and former partners who worked in the Louisiana Division of Criminal Investigation in the mid-1990s. In 2012, for as yet undisclosed reasons, the two are interviewed separately by investigators about their most notorious case: the gruesome crime of 1995, when a prostitute was killed by a possible serial killer with disturbing occult inclinations.
